What factors influence the opportunities we have?
By Monday of week 4 you need to take up to 20 photos which show the opportunities you / we have in NZ which some other children may not have in other countries. e.g. clean water, nutritious food, toys, churches, schools, voting, life and security (if you cannot take the photos yourself you can find them on the internet).
Here are some examples:
We have many churches which we can choose to go, all religions are allowed and respected
Our parents get to vote for the people they want in parliament as prime minister and the local mayor
In NZ we have access to clean fresh water, we can get it in each of our houses (except for the Hastings water contamination)
We always have fresh and healthy fruit and vegetables to eat
